Quick Answer

Point your custom domain at a Nak Builder site so visitors see your brand, not the temporary address.

You built a Nak Builder site on a temporary address. Now you want it to show up at yourname.com. Here is how.

If the domain is registered at Nakroteck

  1. Log in to the client area.
  2. Click Domains, then the domain.
  3. Open the Nameservers tab.
  4. Pick Use default Nakroteck nameservers and save.
  5. In Nak Builder, open Settings > Domain and select the domain from the dropdown.
  6. Click Connect. Nak Builder handles the DNS records from here.

If the domain is at another registrar

  1. Log in to your registrar.
  2. Set nameservers to ns1.nakroteck.net and ns2.nakroteck.net.
  3. Wait up to one hour for the change to take effect.
  4. In Nak Builder, connect the domain from Settings > Domain as above.

SSL for the connected domain

A free Let\'s Encrypt SSL is issued automatically within about 15 minutes of the domain connecting. Visit https://yourdomain.com and confirm the padlock is there before you share the link.
